The Alternative Fuels Task Force (AFTF) evaluates the availability, technical feasibility, economical and environmental impact of alternative fuels. Due to the constant increase in price for traditional jet fuel, airlines need to consider other opportunities to reduce dependence on crude oil.
The AFTF compiles information for airlines to develop future sourcing strategies. The information increases the airlines’ knowledge about the potential derived from alternative fuels.
